Phenolic is resistant to most solvents.

What have you got on them that a damp cloth won't wipe clean?

Looks to be 30 year old sticker residue. I figured they would be fine but didn't want to find out the hard way thanks.

Try water first, then turpentine, then naptha (lighter fluid/Coleman fuel).

Ballistol. Good for all plastics, metal and wood - kind of like .....guns. WD-40 is not a bad choice either - it will cut the carbon but won't hurt the plastic or provide too much lubrication inside the mag, which can cause sprung feed lips.

Alternative: take mag apart, clean metal parts with Hoppes, wash plastic body with hand soap and warm water. Dry and assemble.

I use the dishwasher for general cleaning...
