Just bought a new bolt head assembly from K-VAR and some had firing pin springs. The one I got dosen't and the one in my SLR-95 dosen't. What is the spring for?

I'm pretty sure it's there to prevent a slamfire ...

i WOULD THINK THE SAMETHING BUT THE BOLT HEAD ASSEMBLY SAYS COMPLETE AND MY SLR HAS THE SAME ASSEMBLY WITH OUT THE SPRING.IT HASEN'T BEEN MESSED WITH.
