I know the Bulgy 30rd waffle mags at http://www.joeken.net have been discussed before. But are they a good deal/quality ? They are asking $11 something for them. Are they a good fit for the SAM 7S? Should I look for something else?

You'll love them! I've treated mine well but they appear rugged enough to handle some serious abuse. Aside from that they look really cool, as long as Joeken can deliver $11 is a great price. As I'm sure you've noticed, plenty of vendors charge as much or more for steel 30 round mags.

I like them alot too. I'll take them over the steel mags. anytime.

I've got over 50 Bulgarian Waffle mags and they work great in the Bulgarian rifles, the SA M-7s, VEPRs, etc. I have found that in some of the Romanian SAR-1s they fit a little tight and my Norinco MAK-90s they are too tight of a fit.

They fit fine in my SAR and both of my MAK-90s FWIW.
Best AK mags out there.
I am waiting to see how this turns out with Joeken.

The Bulgarian waffle mags are the best mags around. You will love them and $11.99 is a great deal for them.

They are very nice. I paid $13.50 a while back for mine. They fit fine in my Bulgarian SLR100H and my Norinco underfolder.
