Rugs like that were about ten to twenty US dollars at the bazaars when I was in Afghan land last year.Thought about getting one, but didn't. Got one instead with Massoud on it, pretty cool. The ones I remember had more weapons in the design but the point was the same.

Most if not all of those rugs are repos.. Though made in Afghanyland, they are current products targeted at unsupecting Americans.. The real Afghan "WarRug" from the late 70 early 80's during Soviet occupation are generally much larger, and will command very high prices....

Though the ones on Abay are cool, I would not pay over $50 for one, and that depends..

I always wanted one of the larger Afghan war rugs, but have'nt found one yet.My Dads last foray in the Military was a six month training mission in Tehran,1971,I still have two original Persion rugs and a couple Egyptians.Along with a few old Russian samalvars and anold Iranian Army sword.Everything is in storage until I build my next house with a designated gun room.
