Is it corrosive?

Also what 7.62x39 comes in a clear battle pack. I could see through the battle pack but there was no ID on the boxes.

actual battle pack and not re-pack?

Been shooting for many years and have never seen Bulgarian 7.62x39.

The clear battle pack looked like a South African battle pack except that it was clear. Not sure about the quantity of ammo that was in it.

Been shooting for many years and have never seen Bulgarian 7.72x39.

I've never seen that Bulgarian caliber either...

However, back in the mid 90's, B-West Imports brought in 2 or 3 containers of Bulgarian 7.62x39... in the metal sardine can. The ammo was bi-metal cased, FMJ.

There is still some floating around. But, as time goes on, its harder and harder to find.

Update....purchased 1500 rounds of South African 7.62x39 for $120.

Purchased 800 rounds of Bulgarian 7.62x39 for $40. I told the guy that the Bulgarian ammo was corrosive.

He really didn't want the ammo anyway. It was taking up space in his house.

Now I can toss the Golden Bear ammo out the window!!!
