You must modify (CUT) the receiver to clear the folder,drill a hole in the bottom for the latch and rivet in place. A Romanian side folder would be a better choice.

That will also require you to modifly your reciever and replace your rear trunnion, plus it will cost a whole lot more. Your only two options without cutting your reciever are the Romanian wire folders that I am very fond of, and the Tapco unit that alot of people seem to like, and has a Galil look to it.

I like the Romanian over the AMD. I dont like the cheekweld on the AMD. Im putting a AK100 series folder on my SAR2 right now.
