After going to the Wannemacher show today in Tulsa, and seeing no 7.62x39, I've decided to take up reloading it, at least for the time being.

I bought some 123 grain Winchester power points, but for targets and plinking, they are probably a bit overkill.

I remember someone on the forum had a link to a manufacturer that made bullets specifically for 7.62x39 and they were reasonably priced.  Does anyone have this link?  Thanks.

I just picked up 100 Berry bullets in 110gr .310 from Grafs to test.  Here's the link:

http://www.grafs.com/metallic/929

There is another place that had 123gr FMJ for about $65/1000, but the link has died and I can't remember the name.  It had 'brass' in the website name, but that's all I remember.

LOL....... They tell you that shipping is free but mark 2K up $10 over 1K price. Could be a typo, but on second thought i think there just attempting to rip you one.

I saw that too, but are you going to do?  They still have the best price I've seen on 7.62x39 FMJ bullets.

I tried the 110gr Berrys yesterday.  They went bang, but I think I'll stick with 123-150gr bullets.  Point of impact was at least 12" different than the 150gr Hornady SP (.308) at 50 yards.  Both are using AA1680 and Remington Small Rifle primers in a once fired Remington case.
