 chinese drums are the only way to go, but be prepared to pay some $$ for them. People don't really sell them for cheap. |

I prefer Romanian or Russian....it's all a matter of preference and until you've tried both, it's hard to say which you would prefer.

Chinese, if you can not figure out how to load them you are a dumbass. They are better because you can load them and not wind them until you are ready. The others have tension on their springs and are more likely to fail.

Send me the Romy, I'll make sure it gets used for yah.. I like the Chinese better for ease of loading.. But I think I like the looks of the Romanan/Russian style better.. |

If you got a semi-auto AK why would you want a drum in the first place? I could see if you had a full auto but semi, I dont get.

You got some crazy stuff in TX, but I still dont think your gonna need 75 rounds for black panthers and the klan. I live in NY and I never had any problems yet...

You don't need 75 rounds, or an AK, or a gun, or a large house, or a nice car, or any other luxury that you don't need, but you WANT.  Seriously, don't get mad at people because they don't like to reload.

I have a Russian drum.
It is the most phenomenally useless thing ever. I can't even hold my Valmet right with it in the rifle. It weighs a ton, and rattles more than the beater '76 Chevy pickup I used to drive. I hate it.

Better to have and not need than need and not have. Of course here in NJ our 100 round drums are blocked to 10 rounds, and must be painted pink so as not to offend. |

I'am not anti-gun, I just feel that there is no need to have a drum on a semi-auto. What's the point of having one? You were saying AK's are inacurate but they are only inacurate after the first shot on full auto. The first shot is as acurate as you sighted your gun.

because they are just fun. it offends people, it looks cool, and they chicoms are so much easier to reload than a standard 30 rounder. and I guess you've never bumpfired a whole drum in one dump have you? its fuuuuun! |

I have several of the Chinese drums (75 & 100) and they've never given me a problem - BUT - I've never tried a Bulgy, so I sure can't say mine are "better."
