Just curious, since Kvar sells all types, which country makes the highest quality AK synthetic stock sets?  USA, Bulgarian, Russian, etc?  Or is there no real difference between either of the three manufacturers?

I have a K-VAR US made stock on an FEG SA-85M for compliance and have had no problems with it.  I got it because of the "heat shield" in the hanguard due to posts of others melting.  I bump mine with confidence.

I don't know for a fact if the others melt, but I know mine does not.

I have a KVar NATO length OD Green set on my Romanian, and I like it. It is finished well, and is more comfortable for someone my size than the standard AK stock. I did get the stainless heat shield on the fore end, and it seems to work; i.e. it hasn't melted or distorted yet. I recommend the stock.
