Hi,
What are considered the best 20 round and 30 round 7.62x39 magazines? I really like the look of polymer magazines....so what are some good/cool looking polymer magazines?  Thanks! |

I just got an old Russian Slabside from TravisAasen .... It's probably the Best AK mag I've ever held in my hands ... Heavy Duty doesn't even begin to describe it !!
As far as Polymer goes for the 7.62 I really like the Polish mags .... They look a lot like the Bulgy ribbed mags for the 5.45 ... IMHO .......

IMHO, the best 20 rounders are the Hungarian AMD mags. The best 30 rd mags are the Polish steel, followed by the Bulgarian waffles.

The best ones are the cheapest ones. Well atleast thats my opinion. I havent really had any problems with mags at all so I buy the cheapest ones I can find. Centerfire systems has AMD 20 rd mags for $5 so thats what I will be picking up next.

I forgot to ask. Where is a good place to find these magazines? I looked on Gunbroker but the pickings are slim to none.

I'm partial to the Chinese 30rounders my self. I don't like the rib on the back of the E german or other mags like that. Bulgy waffles are good too.hug.gif
