I just received my Vector Arms underfolder. I was reading on this web site (http://www.ak-47.us/AK-47Bayonets.ph) about the differences in AK and AKM bayonets. What type should I purchase? I am looking for one of the bayonet's with the red grip to match the color of the wood furniture. Thanks for your help!

You need an AKM bayonet.

A Polish AKM bayonet for your rifle would be the correct nationality.

If you want a Polish one, shop around and keep an eye on the sales forums.

Here is what they look like:

This site has a new one for sale at $60:

Otherwise you can check these places:

K-Var

Northridge

That is another good source to check for AK goodies.

Check Global Trades. I bought two Polish Bayonets that were like new from them for about $30 bucks each.
