I have a milled arsenal (las vegas) thumb hole stock, postban ak.  I'm not sure of the actual model off the top of my head.  I am thinking of converting it, how many US parts will I need?

Sounds like you have a SLR-101 post ban.  Does it take factory military 30 round magazines?

It can have no more than 10 imported parts.  With a milled, the receiver and front trunion are one part.

I belive you are safe with a US made fire control group (3 parts), a US pistol grip, and US buttstock.  Uber safe if you get a whole furniture set from Kvar with front handguards as well.  Glad you kept that rifle, its too nice to sell.

Thanks Drew5337, Hopefully I'll have it converted before next time I go shoot.  Now I just have to decide between black or plumb!
