Not sure how many of you guys on here have one of these and I know pretty much what the general consensus is about Armory/GT's builds.

I'm noticing that their PMKMS rifles do not seem to use the polish trunion, in fact it does not even look like the trunion being used is an AKM-pattern trunion at all for that matter.  The one I got on my gun is the more "filled" type and has no markings on it at all which also points to it not being from the polish kits.

Any idea what gives?  Anyone know what barrel trunion they are using on these?  I swear I'm just gonna start making these rifles myself just so I'm sure whats in them.

I already had some issues with this rifle, but I won't go into it since GT has shown pretty good customer care to me so far and even offered to take the rifle back at one point.

I think Jimmy told me they were building with new trunions to assure the headspacing was correct. I would call him or Ron and find out. I have always had good luck with them.

Seems totally off the wall to me. I mean wouldn't the original trunnion be HS'ed correctly? Can you imagine the nightmare having to headspace a trunnion to a barrel that's already been pinned? then doing it again and again hundered of times.
