I've honestly never had problems with my Promag AK mags. I have a couple in smoke that came with my STG-2000C rifle (IO import from years back) that work great. I don't do pushups on them or use them for self-defense work.

Edit to add: On sale for $10.99 each at Midway USA right now: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1506112951/promag-magazine-ak-47-762x39mm-polymer

The Polish mags are the only ones I know of. Depends on your definition of decent. They work fine for me but are disposable. David

I bought a couple of these just because I like transparent/translucent mags too, and they ran just fine. Nice dark smoke mags but all plastic, including the floor plate and follower.

BTW, I sold that SIG a couple years ago. Nice rifle but very front-heavy. It was like having a .308-sized rifle that only shot 7.62x39. Hard to beat a good old AK.

I did not find it to be very accurate, which also figured into selling it. It sounded like some kind of 'super AK' but in the end was simply unsuitable.
