Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone know much about IA Co. imported Norinco's?

Just trying to find out a little about them. The only place I found info on them was Chicom47 and it had a pic covering the info.

To my best guess this was imported by

Old Sacramento Armory
Import Arms Co.
Sacramento CA

This is what the Cand R guys tell me any way.  Don't mean it is true or right.  Just trying to help.

Thanks, it has no markings except IA CO and Norinco lightly on the barrel. Nothing on the receiver. It looks brand new and picked up for 500. Just making sure it wasnt like some of the B-West made guns.

definately not B-West made crap.  i've owned an IA CO 56s3 exactly as pictured on JeepCreep's site, from what i've seen they may be the only importer that didn't put any information on the receiver itself.

Thanks for the help. I've never ran across one or heard anything about them but it looked all original without markings so I bought it.
