I just picked up an AK yesterday that is Hungarian. It is marked "FEG" on it and says "SA2000M" as well as "K.B.I. Inc Harrisburg, PA". It is black with the synthetic furniture. Any more info you guys might have about it? Seems to shoot well, came with 2- 10 round mags. Took the Hesse I had back and exchanged it for this one. Thanks in advance.

I have the Hungarian SA 2000 and its a great shooter, one of my favorites.

What part of Nebraska are you from?

I'm from the western part of the state. Near Scottsbluff. Lotsa varmint hunting out here, so I'm hoping I can get "minute-of-coyote" accuracy out of it :)

Does anyone know if this gun will accept the "hi-cap" magazines? I'd like to get some if it will, but I don't know how to tell.

Actually we have a Hungarian Ak forum right here on this site, It seems dead, but questions are noramlly answered fairly quickly, I believe that your rifle should take just about any standard Ak mag out htere, somebody correct me if I am wrong.

I grew up in western nebraska, near North Platte. There are lots of coyotes in that area.

Yes there are! That's where my love for guns comes from. I love shooting prairie dogs and coyotes. The farmers love it too, which is kind of nice.
