not a krink, but a 16" with thread adapter. you are being smart. a good blast baffle plate and s.s. liner is the way to go.

depending on the size and baffle types, you will get a nice reduction in db. not that 'damn! i can only hear the action cycling!' quiet of a .22 with bolt buffers, but none the less, a pleasant rifle to shoot sans ear protection. we only shot that one dry.

in the rifle length/weight, i noticed no appreciable recoil increase or action slamming.
