she was a no-show.
she and ken's wife got waylayed at the airport. they missed their fight out due to a paperwork screwup related to the tickets. at least that's the story i've been telling my wife! |

I cannot even begin to imagine what it would have been like HAD she shown up. She would have been mobbed, and probably would have had at least a dozen proposals of marriage on the spot.
