Got my Romanian 75 round drum today and was wondering how exactly you load it. It seemed I could pull on the lever on the front and I could put 2-3 rounds then I'd have to pull it again. Is this the easiest way to go about things?

Also will leaving the drum loaded hurt anything, I know with most mags it's not a problem, just making sure there aren't any special exceptions.

Now I just need to find a cheap clamp on bipod to fit the Saiga barrel

I tried the LULA on it, didn't seem to work.

So what's the deal with the lever on front, it didn't seem to work after a few rounds unless I twisted it.

you need to pull the lever up for every round. That means pulling the lever 75 times. The fastest I have ever loaded my 75 round drum is 15 minutes.
