Firstly, I know the bipod could be done... but the pistol grip, I'm not so sure about. I've looked it over again and again and I can't figure out how to do it. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

There are crappy aftermarket stocks out there that might be what you're looking for.. But if you want an AK, get one :)The bipod might be somewhat fun, those cheap clamp-ons should do it just fine.

By the time you add all that junk to an SKS you could have bought a WASR-10.

Well, the SKS was free... it was given to me. But I don't like rifles w/out pistol grips (being in the army, we're accustomed to them).

SKS is alot better factory in my opinion. I have never really felt the need for a bipod on one.

Go shoot it a few times first.

I totally agree, the standard factory SKS is all you need. Spend the money on ammo.
