I have no bias if your ak is made by north koreans or any other company as long as the company stands by their work! So please don't fret to post your comments and any problems on this board there are jerks every where on the net ignore them. Back to what you were saying the best thing you can do first after you get your rifle. 1st take it apart and give it a once over clean and oil the barrel and function test it this is simple no ammo to be used for this!!!!! take top cover off then rack your bolt as if you were chambering a round turn your safety on and see if the hammer falls when pulled this is vital to ensure your saftey works! then turn the safety off ans pull trigger to see if the hammers falls. I do this to any gun I buy to make sure it is as ready as possible before live fire at a range!. Then go shoot the heck out of it shoot a few hundred rounds out through your ak and then come back if you have problems but either way let us know how she shoots accuracy, failure to fire FTF, failure to eject FTE, short stroking fires one round fails to chamber another. Most of these issues are easy fixes and your stock screw comment is only suspect until it is your problem. The guns that ATI has at least the ones I have held look good and I would not hesitate to own one if I was looking for another. Keep us up to date.
