I have a Arsenal USA SSR-99, one hell of a AK! excellent quality, accurate best damn $500 I have spent on a weapon.

I've had real good luck with Global.  I had a SSR-85C that was an excellent rifle that I sold to my brother to buy one of their AMD underfolders.  The underfolder has functioned great, but I've only put 4 mags through it.  It does have a canted (very slightly) FS that I'm going to have to take to them to straighten it out.  To sum it up, I like their stuff, but I wouldn't buy their stuff sight unseen.  Also, I live close enough to them that if I have an issue it's less than an hour's drive to get it fixed.

I've got one of Arsenal USAs SSR-85Bs and love it. Very nice. I do wish it was a bit more accurate, but that's an AK for ya.

Although I haven't purchased anything from them (yet), talking to Jimmy in person and over the phone - he's very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.  Looking at their rifles on Sunday - they look flawless.

The Arsenal TX guns (not Arsenal NV) can be fine deals. But like Romys, some things slip thru and these are not $300 guns. A friend of Campy's sent his back twice the other year. If it was easy nitpicking stuff they would have done it themselves. Shooting the fixed version was very accurate and looked great in wood.

I have two Arsenal, Inc. guns and have generally been happy with them both. I've seen the gun that RS39 is referring to - it should never have left the factory the way it was, but everything seems to be working well on it now.

Arsenal Inc is not Arsenal USA.  Arsenal USA is now called Armory USA.  Engineer, were you refering to Arsenal out of Nevada having been the manufactorer (sp) of your two rifles?

My two rifles were manufactured by Arsenal, Inc of Nevada - milled AK's. The rifle that RS-39 referred to was from Arsenal USA / Global Trades of Texas.

So would there SSR-74-2 be worth getting.
Edit: Or should I just spend the extra $30 and get an ORF.

the ssr 56 has alot of problems that was the last one out, the 74's I hope are ok, there are alot on the ar boards that have had problems with them shooting two and three round burts, the 99's and 85's were great, its the new stuff thats crap, Ive had to do alot of work on mine to get it to shoot right
