The awesome M-92 Yugoslavian "Krinkov" from the famous Zastava Arms Kragujevac Factory will be our third Special Edition AK here on AR15.COM. SEAK III WILL ONLY TOTAL 50 RIFLES. As such, it will be "CNC Engraved" on the left side of the receiver above the magazine: S.E.A.K. III 1 of 50 The Zastava Factory has a much celebrated history, and I encourage all of you read the history of this famous and historical factory to get an appreciation of this weapon. SEAK III will consist of: - Brand New Unissued M-92 Kit w/Tritium "Flip-Up" Front and Rear Sights - Armory USA 1.0mm Stamped Receiver - Gordon Tech G2 "Double Hook" Fire Control Group - US Manufactured "Yugo" Design Pistol Grip from our own "TheDukeRyan" - Ohio Rapid Fire "Fake" Suppressor - Sling and One Steel Magazine - Durable Teflon Moly over Phosphate Finish The SEAK III will utilize a scaled down PBS-5 suppressor. Identical to this one, but scaled down to 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 where the can meets the FSB. Ohio Rapid Fire will be providing the project with complete kits, a newly designed fake suppressor, as well as the Armory USA Receivers. InRange will take possession of the kits, provide the G2 FCG, US "Yugo" Pistol Grip, and assemble and finish the weapon. The SEAK III will come with a full one-year warranty on assembly and function. Shipping Costs will be the responsibility of the purchaser. FFL Transfer Fees will be the responsibility of the purchaser. Cost of the AR15.COM Special Edition AK (SEAK) III will be: $875.00 Non Team Members will be able to purchase the same rifle for an additional $50.00, for a total of $925.00. However, we encourage non Team Members to join AR15.COM with a bronze membership to receive the SEAK III at the Team Member price. Note: The production of SEAK III is contingent upon a minimum of 25 individuals desiring this special edition AK. Once we have 25 individuals providing a deposit, production will begin. Production from start to finish is estimated to be 2-3 weeks upon receipt of the deposits of those 25 individuals. We plan on allowing 30 calendar days for everyone to spin up and put their name on the SEAK III list. We will begin taking names on 29 Aug 05 and cease on 27 Sep 05. Deposits can be sent now, but will be due NLT 30 Sep 05. Production begins on 3 Oct 05 and will complete on 21 Oct 05. With the future importation of complete kits ceasing on 1 Jan 06, we feel this may be one of your last opportunities to purchase a unique weapon at a lower than currently available market cost. If you choose not to participate in this project, we encourage you to purchase one of these weapons from other retailers as soon as possible so as not to "miss the boat" like many of us did in 1989 and 1994. I will act as the single Point of Contact (POC) for this project and all questions will be directed to me. Weekly updates will be provided to AR15.COM Members and Management so they can stay abreast of all matters affecting the members of this board. Order Form for the AR15.COM SEAK III |

Krinkfreak or InRange,
Two questions: 1) Since I live in Maryland, can a 20rd or less magazine be requested? If not, can I request the magazine be deleted? 2) Since I plan to SBR this rifle at a later time, can InRange engrave my SBR information (First and Middle Initial, Last Name, City, and State abbrevation) some where on the receiver before the finish application? If so, how much additional cost? Thanks, Landwarrior... |
Excellent Idea. I mailed my form out this moring but I would also like my information engraved if this is possible. |
If CC info is provided, will they charge for the deposit and then charge again when the rifle is completed?
That is correct we will charge the deposit at the close of ordering. We will contact you upon completion for final payment. As far as the engraving goes 25.00 will cover it. Please include a note with your deposit as to what you want engraved.
I will update the Ordering Form accordingly, to show the SBR engraving charge.
Just so everyone understands: If you are ordering your SEAK III as an SBR from In Range, there will be no additional charge for the engraving on the receiver. IF YOU ELECT TO HAVE YOUR NAME/CITY ENGRAVED ON THE RECEIVER FOR FUTURE SBR ACTION ON YOUR PART, THERE WILL BE A $25.00 CHARGE. |
Can someone explain the SBR procedures? Stamp, engraving, costs, ect.
I think this pretty much sums it up! files.uzitalk.com/reference/pages/FAQ.htm#SBR_semi_auto |
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The original SEAK III is a 16" rifle including the fake can. The m-92 is originally a SBR. We are offering this option for those that wish to register it as such.
Troy, will you be using the pistolgrip reinforcement plates in these builds?
ETA: Papers all filled out, waiting on my FFL guy and then I can send it all in! |
The M-92s did not originally come with pistol grip reinforcement plates. Those were only original on the Bulgarian Side Folders.
In Range will not be installing those on the M-92s. KF |
Order form, FFL and money order going out today!
EDIT - Sent via USPS Priority! |
The preban Hungarian SA-85M underfolder has the pistol grip reinforcement plates too. |
Waiting for the updated photo, I want to see what I'm getting
Same here. |
The fake suppressor will be Teflon Molycoat finish to match the rest of the weapon.
Tag.
I might go for this instead of the SEBR if it's lookin that good. |
I am currently stationed in Okinawa and the Japanese gov't wont let me receive firearms. If I wanted to participate in the SEAK III what would be the possibility of InRange holding the firearm for me until I could get back to the states and transfer it through a FFL?
Hop,
I don't really see that as a problem. Sellars will check in this morning and respond. |
We have no problem holding these for Service guys. Due to the state of military deployment we are usually keeping three-four rifles all the time till guys get home. Most of the time they will send us stuff before they leave and we finish them while they are away.
I will have the prototype of the fake can for the M-92 done today. I'll have photos of it in the white this afternoon. I'll then send it to Todd as a 3-D blue print. Thanks |
It's an underfolder.
The pic you saw earlier in the thread was just an example of the suppressor we are planning on using, not the actual weapon. KF |
I still prefer the PBS clone, but I'm buying no matter which model is chosen.
Thanks for the reply Mr Sellers and Krink. Looks like I am getting an underfolder.
The PB5? I guess I like the PB5 also. |

Caliber: 7.62x39 mm Action: Gas operated, rotating bolt Sights: Adjustable Iron, with “flip-up” Tritium Night Sights Weight: 3,5 kg (with empty magazine); 3,6 kg (with loaded magazine) Length: 800 mm (with open buttstock) Barrel length: 254 mm (without fake suppressor) Magazine capacity: 30 rounds standard Effective range : 200 meters Rate of fire : 620 rounds per minute |
Ok so the barrel is 10 inches. How long is the fake suppressor? I know it has to be at least 6" to make it to 16" overall. Does the fake suppressor effect accuracy at all? |
Nope. Sellars always does a test fire on the weapons he assembles to ensure there are no accuracy, or "keyholing" problems.
How is the fake can attached?, and what will I need to do to SBR this rifle at a later date?
Thanks |
Is it too late to consider having these marked with the Yugo selector markings?
Calling my local FFL for papers tomorrow.
I'll be sending in my order after that. Should I care to put a real suppressor on, who maufactures one for the 7.62X39, or will any made for the .308 work? I have not found one online that said it is made for the round. Thanks. |
