I am ignorant about the Hungarian AK's and was looking at the AMD 65 but was curious if you can change the vertical foregrip to a regual AK style front grip? Also can you put on a regular wood stock like the russian AK's? I do not want a thumbhole stock on there either and would prefer a wood stock and separate pistol grip and a 2 piece wood front grip. Is this possible?

Thanks

For the stock, you'd have to rebuild the whole rearend of the rifle, a lot of work and not worth the time.

For the handguard, the lower will go on with little mods. Take the metal lower off and look and the retainer (front piece that moves on the barrel), it has two little tit things in there to lock onto the metal, you need to notch the wood for these.
For the upper, get another tube with the handguard and it will need to be cut down, the AMD65 has a shorter tube & piston unless it's one of those fake AMDs that uses a standard AKM front end.
