I am leaning towards an AMD-63 kit and was wondering if it is a simple matter to replace the foregrip assembly with something more conventional, ie US made. Not being an AK guru I'm assuming its not a huge deal but wanted to make sure before I clicked buy.

Thanks,

Jester

So I can replace with any AK furniture made for a standard length stamped rifle?

Thanks,

Jester

Cool. I was trying to decide whether to get the AMD-63 or the Polish underfolder kit. I'm leaning towards the Hungarian now. I really want to build one with a folder but I hear the underfolder is not real stable in comparison to some aftermarket models out now.

Thanks,

Jester

Sir, I have an AMD 65, and I too would like to use AK furniture (ie, the for stock and gas tube cover) What is the major problem with doing this? Thank you in advance for your time, also you can email me direct at Ltron65@hotmail.com .....Ron

Will any lower foregrip fit on an AMD65? I want to buy a Saiga sporter foregrip from Krebs but I'd hate to waste the money if it won't fit. Thanks in advance.
