tapco has the romanian side folders (pushbutton) for cheap. the east german (lever) side folders have dried up. they look the same as the romanian, other than the actuation lever/button.

ain't that the way it always goes!?! the romanian folders work/look just as good though.

the east german mags are perfect. matter of fact, it's hard to find a crapy ak mag. the bulgarian steel mags have the nicest finish of all the 7.62 mags i've seen.

2 screws for the stock. make sure you get screws with your folder, as they are different than the wood screws.

the upper handguard simply rotates 180° to remove/install (clamp the rear of the gas tube in a padded vise). the lower handguard has a throw lever located to the right of the bbl. on the retainer plate. remove the gas tube and pry up on that lever to slide the retainer plate forward.
