I'm sure someone can help me on my question...I have a stripped russian RPK receiver...and I'm having a damn hard time finding a barrel for it..so I'm thinking of buy one of the bulgarian AK-104 barrels out of K-Var..but I have no idea what the barrel diameter is....I'm hoping its 22mm...can anyone help me with this question? with my luck it will be a 23mm

thanks

I highly suggest emailing Chris at AKUSA. He should know, he built my 104. If memory serves, they are cut down standard AK barrels. If that helps at all. Anyone else who knows will hopefully chime in.

They are not cut down barrels. They are crowned like the regular length and Krinkov barrels. Also Bulgarian trunions are 22mm so i would expect the barrels to be the same. Romanian trunions and barrels are 23mm. Call them. They will be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.
