Are the rear leaf sight plates (and the positions of their markings) the same for all the AK100 rifles regardless of the cartridge?
I'm wondering if it's the same plate and elevation/ranging is a function of the slope on the sight base.

Yes.

500M for the carbines
1000m for the rifles.

Stottman knows, and is correct. I bought both for 69.95 each(ouch..lol) from Doug Ford/ Tantal. 1 for my AK-103, and 1 from my AK-104 projects.

Cyrillic 100m through 1000m for AKS-74M/AK-101/AK-103

100m through 500m for AK-102/AK-104/AK-105.
