Okay i am in a pickle here...im looking to buy a new gun and im leaning towards either an AK47 underfolder (Yugo M70 AB2), a Bulgarian AK74, or a regular AK47. all three are parts kits. it would be my first AK ever and i can't decide which one...what do you guys think?

Forgive me for being rude on the dark side but will you ever stop posting "new gun advice" threads? I think you just need to buy one already, any one.

lol yeah i know but this is kinda hard...lol YOU SHOULDNT BE ON AK AND AR FORUMS!! ![]() |
Where are you getting an underfolder for 250?
I just got both. This week. I'm not kidding. I couldn't decide either so i got both. |
He's looking at parts kits. Thus the $250 underfolder.
If it's your first AK, I suggest buying a complete rifle. Just IMO. |
oh I shoulda read that. Why get a parts kit when banned rommys are 259 at jg and no bans 320 there. those are steals and great beaters.
site please? |
I WISH! heh i think i can only go with one right now... |
AK74 dew to the fact that no one makes a proper 100% Yugo reciever ... im not into finishing a 80% reciever...
wait...that doesnt make sense...if i were to buy the AK47 underfolder, i'd get a 100% Dragunov (grrr) reciever, but if i were to get the '74, it'd be the 80% |
is there anywhere to get the US made red pistol grips for the AK74?
I meant id take the AK74 over a Yugo dew to the proper 100% reciever is not avaliable..

Are you going to build it yourself?? ![]() |
yes with some help from my brother and maybe some welding done by the local welder... |
Yugo parts kits are not in-hand and conditions reported on yet.
AMD65 is a safer bet now for a 47. Get the Bulgy 74, mint parts, mine is 2moa on 10 cent ammo, and my fave gun out of 14 calibers on hand. About $190 for fixed stock and $290 for the side folder. |
yeah i think i'll do the 74 (unless the evil M1 Garand makes me but it) but i wanna find a red US made pistol grip...
the evil M1 Garand is using its black magic on me again...and it's starting to work...
is there any place i could get it built for less than $100...? |
It just isn't right that you are taking technical experts time to satisfy your every damn curiosity
uhhh if you are talking about making these topics, no one's making you look at them...you dont like me posting them, dont post in them. save you and me a lot of trouble... |
I am referring to you asking for the opinions from great AK minds here and them proceed to SLAP THEM IN THE FACE by saying that you are thinking about going with an M1 Garand or some other gun now instead (much like what you have done in your dozen other posts on the same topic) You just don't get it, do your own research and use your own head to determine what your needs are |
how is saying i MIGHT get an M1 (key word MIGHT. MIGHT = 50 50 chance) slapping people in the face? has ANYONE that has actually given me information griped about it? NO! how can you gripe about it when 1. i didnt even ask YOU and 2. you havent given me any info on AK's at all? P.S. how do you know i havent done my own research? I HAVE. i have spent countless hours searching for these things. i dont usually post stuff like this unless i cant find it on my own. |

You didn't say you MIGHT you said it was looking like you were going towards an M1 now. http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=4&t=226383 http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=227745 http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=226590 http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=4&t=227086 http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=223890 http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=4&t=225516 If you can't make up your mind by now to spend your $500 available on a gun then god help you |

$320....and those are old posts...now i am thinking about a '74 but im not sure. unlike you (apparently), i think carefully about how im gonna spend my money and i wanna find out what other people think and find out more about the rifle before i buy it. also this is my first "expensive" rifle and i want to buy the right one.
like i said DONT REPLY/LOOK AT THE POST IF YOU DONT LIKE IT |
$320? That ain't gonna get you 90% of the stuff you are asking questions on!!!!!!!HOLY SHIT what a waste of time for people to respond to your stuff. Those posts are not old, they are less than a month and a half old. IF I DON'T LIKE YOUR POSTS I AM GOING TO LET YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE KNOW ABOUT IT, OK BUD? |
