Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - AK102 folding stock

I am planning out an AK 102 build with the folding poly stock.  From what I have found out, the folding stock folds to the left.  It has a slot in the left side of the stock.  I am guessing the purpose of the slot is to accommodate a side rail mount and attached optic.  Am I right?
