I am planning on doing an AK102 (SBR) build.  Any suggestions on a receiver for this build?  Thanks

Thanks, that makes sense.  I was thinking that the 5.56, being a higher pressure round would require a stiffer receiver.  For some reason I forgot about Saiga.  Do you know of a source or will I need to buy a donar receiver?

Use a SAR-3, SAR-2 or SLR-105 receiver.  The Saiga's are a super bitch to work on, have extra holes you have to weld shut and have no dimples.  Major project compared to a SLR-105 and SAR-2/3.  Dont tell anyone though.  Yeah, thats the ticket, use a Saiga.  Trust  me...

If he is using a 100 series stock he will have to weld up the rear trunnion holes. Not to mention that he would still have receiver markings that look worse than Feinstein's ass.

I don't care about dimples.

If he used a SLR105 he would have to get a new barrel. Yeah, that's the ticket.
