The big obstacle to an ACOG on an AK is the height that the ACOG sits at. It's real difficult to get them low.

Depending on your gun and preferences, you may need a cheek riser or a whole new stock. I have been running a Beryl stock with a cheek riser on my -74 for a long time, and while it works great with irons, it's really not going to work for something at ACOG height. (Also way too short, but that's a different problem.) If I decide to mount a Primary Arms 2.5x on it, I'll probably wind up putting on an Archangel stock... folding is over-rated anyways.
