Toss me a bone here. Getting ready to order the ACE stock for my M77 but I cannot decide on length.

I enjoy shooting Warsaw length, but since the M77 will be shot mostly scoped, I can't decide if I should move up to 8.5" stock. I also may skip the folding block and simply install fixed, which would make about 3/4" difference either way.

Would love to hear from someone who slapped an ACE on their M77 and can report on which length felt best.

Ordered the 8.5" as Midway was out of stock on the 7". We'll see how it works.

Could always put a thicker pad on the end of the 7"

Warsaw length stock is 9 1/4" from receiver to buttplate

the 8.5 inch stock with .5 pad  will be close
