Lots of explanations in that video.

What part is confusing?

looks like it could be 8m3, which is promising.

It is definitely not. 8M3 has been demonstrated in other testing to come apart pretty aggressively. There was very little fragmentation in this case. It yawed early and a couple small lead fragments came off the back end, but it looks like the bullet stayed mostly in one piece.

Ridgeline.....If you don't have anything nice to say... then say nothing.

BlueFalcon spends his time and money to enlighten everyone here. .... of his free will.... I for one ( of the numerous others here) appreciate his sharing with us AR folk.

He is under no contract nor is he rewarded for his efforts.... so, please be considerate of other people's efforts...regardless of your wants.

I will look at YOUR contributions shortly.

Again....please keep your un-needed comments to your self, please. You seem like a likable person....perhaps a little blunt, but likeable.

Ridgeline, there was little empirical data that could be collected in that test because the bullet exited the block. What little data was recorded was listed in the description on the YouTube page. The bullet yawed hard, fragmented slightly, and left the block at about 10", give or take. Does that answer your question(s)?

No not at all. ZERO technical info was shown in that video which was my deleted point.

Enjoy your shooting though.  Have fun.

Thanks for the test. Typical stuff for a steel-jacketed bullet.

You've done quite a few of these now; do you have a list of everything that you've tested? I could add it to the FAQ if you want.

Nothing.  Just nothing.  I have 80% loss of my left hand due to this round.  Nothing you say at this pint matters. You don't get it and you won't.

It's a shot into ballistic gelatin. The video could do a little better job showing the penetration depth, fragmentation, and other related number, but I still think it's kind of rude how you're complaining about his video considering he went through the trouble and considerable expense to make make it.

I absolutely concur. I was not pleased with the way this video turned out so I had initially decided not to publish it, but after reading some posts here and on other forums that indicated people believed Tula was using the 8M3 bullet in this load, I thought I should share it. I may revisit this another time with larger blocks but I think that at the least, this is sufficient to prove it is NOT the 8M3 bullet. It does yaw fairly quickly so is likely a better choice than some FMJ, but otherwise performs about the same as most FMJ.
