Figured I would have seen a post of this nature here, but seing as I dont I figured I would post one up. Looking for the best price on 1000 round battlepacks of 7.62X39mm ammo, currently I am able to purchase it for $97.00 including shipping and handling from cabelas.com... can anyone get better prices for 1000 rounds of 7.63x39mm ammo including the shipping fee if applicable?

$69 when ammunitionstore.com runs a sale. $65 at the local gunshow. $97 isnt that good of a price. i mean realistically its cheap. but not when i can buy it for $70 all day long at a local gunshow.

Same here. Ammunition store is local so I pay less than $65 sometimes.

Dvldog, I live in Georgia what gunshows are you going to where ammo is $65 a case. Lately it's been around $100 a case. A major rip off for wolf. A last year it was around $80 a case for wolf. Used to find silver bear at the fun shows but wolf's been the only option it for a while. I perfer to order my ammo now and save my $7 entrance fee.

Go to aim's website. They have some ammo at 77 bucks a case and it scared me since I have not heard of it.

But then again I have a renewed interest in aks and am back to learn about what is new and current and get myself something with some wood attached.

either will beat the dog crap out of Cabellas for price, and s/h won't be bad, both are the next state over from ya. I've also dealt happily with chestnutridge.com in PA a few times, but their prices are only so-so on ammo.

$65 bucks a 1000 is a steal. I can't get it any cheaper than $85-90/1000.

You can do the Cabelas deal where you order it for $75/1000 of it and get 2 ammo cans with it, I did that the other day.

cabelas is $94.99 for 1000 rnds of the old style laquaer coated green case Wolf and with $6 sure charge and $10 shipping it isnt no deal at all as it comes to $110 complete
