I thought the Barnaul was the one with the 70s looking picture of the cowboy shooting the scoped rifle on the box.

Just ordered 2250 rounds and joined the club for $200.  Free shipping when you join the club.  So the shipping and product saving covered the membership.

SPG1800 coupon code for $15 off on purchase over $150.

Done. I'm all cross-threaded with business and family shit for the next two weekends but, how about sometime in Dec?

how 'bout that!  A couple more 5.45 '74 fans in Arizona!  I have a SAR2 (2003)that has seen less than a case of ammo.  Good shooter so far!

I live on the West Side (101 Loop/Glendale Av), work on the North side (I17 / Deer Valley Rd.)

Let me know if you want some company on that Ben Avery trip, or a better place to shoot.  A desert shoot would be nice (if we could find a safe place).

I GOT MINE TODAY!!!

Wow, that was fast.
I think that my UPS man hates me now (again).

Now I have 3000 rounds of 5.45x39, and not a weapon to fire. I hope that I can wait for the SEAKs!
If not, what better excuse to buy another gun?

Hmmm, maybe I'll have to take a 'scouting mission' down to Ohio Rapid Fire next week.
I've never been to their shop, and it might be nice to see where my next 'baby' will be 'born'.

Now all I need is a killer deal on mags. Gonna need a bunch of mags!

Add another AK74 to the Arizona contingent! I picked up a CAR-2 last week, and my ammo delivery from SG arrived today (ordered Sunday - that was some fast service!). Hoping to get to Ben Avery sometime this weekend ... but I'm up for a shoot anytime.

SailorDude and I are thinking Dec 21. probably Ben Avery, and it would be best to get there <7 so we can all set up at adjoining benches. Will be the first annual Arizona Yule AK shoot.

EX, BillSP, DryHeat

If ya'll wanted to make a weekend trip out of it; some other guys and I own 450 isolated acres up by Bagdad. It's kind  of a bear to get in and out of but, we'd have the whole place to ourselves. Primitive quarters available.

You can shoot to about 500 yards through 270 degrees.

Lemme know.

Dry Heat: Do you live up by me in Cave Creek?

although that sounds tempting, it would be impossible so close to Christmas to take the whole weekend. Im thinking of just a couple of hours, like from 7:00-noon.
In the future though, that sounds like a blast!! would my 2wd xterra be able to make it out there?

SailorDude - Yes, I live in the vicinity of the intersection of Cave Creek Rd. and Carefree Hwy. (Dove Valley Ranch). Are you up here, too? I'm not familiar with Bagdad, but it sounds interesting. Is it OK to shoot .50 cal out there? I've got a McBros Tac 50 sitting around that I've yet to run a single round through! I'm not so sure the timing is right for a Dec. 21st outing (EX11B and I are like-minded ... too close to the Holidays for a weekend trip away). Perhaps some other time would be better.

Dry Heat

Yeah, I live in Cave Creek.

.50's are no problem. The land we own is an old deserted mining claim; completely surrounded by BLM. Nobody bother us. Plenty of big-ass backstops.

Hell, bring a 125 if you have one.

Maybe we could look at January some time. After that, I'm pretty well out of it until April 15.

EX: One way to find out. I'll try it next weekend in my girlfriend's 2WD Xterra. If it doesn't work, it may cost me a girfriend but, as the old chief gunners mate used to say:

"There's always one more! Har, Har, Har!!

In any event, I suppose we should plan on 12/14 at 0700 for the time being. We can plot, plan and scheme for future nonsense at that time.

Best,
