Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 18" bolt cutters ok for rivet squeezer?

I have a pair of 18" bolt cutters that have the adjustable jaws. Has anyone made a pair of rivet squeezers from cutters this size? I hope these aren't too small. I don't want to cut the jaws up if they aren't going to work.

As long as the cutters are long enough 18" bolt cutters make fine rivet smashers.  The set that I originally got from Greenlight Arms was made from 18" cutters.
