If anyone is a Nra counselor I have a question.  When you become a counselor do you automatically get all the instructor certs?

Not a TC, but my understanding is that TC's need training certs in the areas in which they are certified to teach.

Why?  Are you just wanting to get certifications?  Or what’s the end goal?

I am going to become a TC but I was not sure what I could teach moving forward for instructors.  For example I don't have the nra ccw course. Not that I would teach that.

So, for the topics you want to be TC for, do you have sufficient training in those areas as it is without the NRA instructor certs?

Yes I do. I think the only one I don't have is the new ccw cert they offer.

I'm a counselor.  You have to get instructor certs for each one.
