I'm looking for new steel for my home range right now I don't have a lot of room as I have to clear out the brush to make the proper distance and keep it safe.

What I'm looking for is a steel silhouette style B-27 target that mimics that target size at 25 yards and another at 15 yards from only 10 yards away.

During my qualifications, I always had problems at the 25-yard mark so I want to practice that so I can improve my score and make myself a better shot.

Does anyone know what size the steel target would need to be? Thanks!

Edited to add: Even the size of the 9 ring would be nice but like to know what the size of the area is!

Dont know if this is what you have in mind but I have some 1/4 or 1/3 size silhouette steel targets , ar500 steel

These...

I have 2, one set at 35 yds and one set at 65 yds, depending on color you paint them ,  versus terrain and outside lighting ( im shooting in dense woods, low light situation) they can be a challenge to ping off hand, etc.

Yeah what he said.  Plenty of reduced size choices.  Mine is an MGM brand, and it has taken a beating.

I'm just looking for the size of the 9 ring at 25 yards so that I can practice.

Maybe you want a B-29.

Or maybe you want an A/B silhouette.

You might be over complicating it then,

Get a full size target, measure your 9 ring , the B-27;is a 50 yard target (according to www)

If the full size B-27 target 9 ring is 4” x 6” @ 50 yrd, just mask off your 25 yrd target and paint the “9 ring” with orange or white paint and the rest black. Your masked off area would be 2” x 3” as 25 yrd from 50 yrds would be 1/2 aka 50% of its org size.

You basically just need smaller targets.  1/2 or 3/4 IPSC steel plates work fine.  Or small plates like 6” circles.  You’re not simulating extended range so much as a smaller visible target to the eye.  You can’t create any adjustment for external ballistics/trajectory.

Or as recommended above, paint a smaller target area on the target and tell everyone not to miss it.
