I bought a plastic hand thrower and was wondering if adding 12-18 inches to the handle would give the clay pigeons more velocity and distance.  Anyone ever try this?  EDIT: I just found one one Amazon with an extension, says it can go 90 yards, I think I'll try to add to the handle and see how it works.

Leverage is the name of the game. Longer lever makes more speed. Make it like a baseball bat.

Good luck hitting a clay at 90yds!!!! I worked at a trap and skeet range for about 3 years and the championship shooters using mods and full chokes rarely hit them on trap past 45yds out.  But yeah, to get more velocity, which makes more distance and more air time, longer handle oughta whip em way put there!
