Many people consider low-light pistol training to be "advanced" in nature. This is often due to the lack of available low-light courses, and/or facilities which will accommodate such training. In all reality, being able to fight with a pistol in low-light conditions is an absolute necessity. This course will work on light discipline and discrimination, target identification and discrimination techniques, weapon malfunctions and manipulation in low-light, fighting around barricades with handheld and weapon mounted lights, and critical low-light movement skills. In addition, valuable handheld and weapon mounted light manipulation will be honed. This course will highlight any equipment related issues you may have with your white-light illumination devices.  

As with any training, bring appropriate weather related clothing (warm and cold), sunscreen, footwear, EYE and EAR protection, serviceable pistol with range holster (NO cross draw or shoulder holsters), magazine pouch, minimum three magazines, food, snacks and hydration. Lunch/dinner break will be taken during training.  

***If you are running a weapon mounted light, you will still need a handheld light for additional handheld illumination techniques. If you are not running a weapon mounted light, an appropriate handheld light will be necessary for target identification and shooting during this course. ALL ATTENDEES will need a handheld light for administrative purposes, in between courses of fire.   This course will begin during daylight hours, to ensure illumination techniques are sound, before progressing into low-light training after sunset.
