So still working on my build plan and I am stuck on the scope. Yeah Ik they are not ZCO but I dont think I can justify the price. What I am looking at are the NF atacr 5-25 in either mil-xt or tremor 3. There is a 200.00 difference with mil discount, or the Vortex razor gen II in either ebr7c or Tremor3 and a 300.00 difference. Now between the razor ebr7c and nf milxt there is a 750.00 difference and a 640.00 in the nf and vortex tremor3 option. Not posting the mil prices on them just the difference in prices.
What do you think about the tremor3 vs the mil-xt or ebr7c? Do you think Nightforce is worth the 750 and 640 difference over the vortex? |

I wouldn’t pay more for any Horus reticle. I don’t like them and find them overly cluttered. The 7C and XT would be my choices in the two scopes you are looking at. NF are good scopes but I wouldn’t pay that much more than a Razor II. The Razor II is the most used scope in PRS matches and it’s very capable. Have you been able to look at either one?

I think my 7-35 ATACR is better than my Gen 2 Razor. Is it $1k better? I don't know, but I would buy another one.
I agree with Rob, go with the XT is you decide on the ATACR. The Horus reticles aren't worth the licensing fee over the Mil-XT. |

I had a Tremor 3 and it was too cluttered for me to spot many of my short misses when shooting without a spotter. With a spotter it was fine. Nightforce is what I prefer.

Look at the Tract Toric UHD 4.5-30x56. It’s a lot of scope for the money, and the moniker some have given it online as the “Razor Killer” is very fitting.

I am a big fan of H-59 and T3 reticles. My new atacr has a mil-xt in it.
