which one should i buy for long range 22lr 300 yards or more cant afford voodoo

I don’t have either, but this is my big life question at the moment.

A buddy just bought the Tikka and says it’s great, but I’ve got my sights on the b14.

Long way to say “I’m just here for the answers.

A buddy bought the B14r and he was getting great groups at 50yds and good groups at 100yds, so I decided to get one. I’m getting equally if not better groups from mine. After seeing ours go 2 for 2, a third guy in our shooting group picked up 2 and they both shoot as well.

I’m sure the t1x will shoot good, but I don’t think they will consistently shoot with a B14r. The 2 I’ve seen didn’t at least. They are certainly precise enough for NRL or PRS .22 matches though.

If you’re planning on shooting past 300yds get a 40moa rail. I have to use all of my scope travel and everything in the reticle to get the 30-31mil required for 500yds with the 20moa base I’m using. It was all that was in stock at the time, but I need to swap it out.

Pretty sure the small plate is 3-4”.

But, I will be buying a Vudoo as soon as possible.

Well, I officially ended my internal debate and ordered a bergara as well.

Also order a egw 30 moa base.

I’m gonna mount my incoming arken sh 6-24 gen 2. Whenever it shows up.

I own both Bergara B14-R Carbon, Athlon Cronus 4.5x29x56, 30 moa rail, TT Special, FleaBay muzzle brake.
Tikka T1X, Athlon Ares 4.5-27x50, KRG Bravo, FleaBay muzzle brake.
B14-R shoots better for me. Tikka is no slouch.

OP. You won't be disappointed in the Bergara. I love mine. That being said I do have a Vudoo on order that should deliver Late April Early May.

SK Rifle Match is what my B14R really likes.

what is a good 10 shot group at 100 yards

With a .22 anything around an inch or less is pretty stellar.
