I am replacing my entire optic setup on a Remington 700 LA. I have the scope and Vortex PMR rings. I need a base.
I have found several bases in stock but on Eurooptic they say for current production 700’s. I bought mine used in 2007 so I’m not sure if the bases that say for current production will work. Can anyone help me make sure I get a base that will work with my rifle. |

i previously have bought Seekins LA and several SA for my remingtons
my last rifle i purchased a nightforce LA base and i am either doing something wrong. or they just make the rail much much longer towards the scope bell. i had to buy much higher rings to mount the NX8 scope because the scope was touching the NF base. i was quite disappointed it could have just been the way the NX8 was made too IDK. you will need to find out what kind of screws your rifle takes. its either 6 or 8.... https://seekinsprecision.com/moa-scope-bases.html bla bla i vote Seekins |

Thanks pretty sure my rifle has #6 screws, that was what was confusing me.
