Using binoculars on a tripod while prone

Looked through some swarovski slc 10x and am sold. I planned to use them freehand and on a tripod. Now that I'm looking into tripods it doesn't seem that people use this setup prone. Is it uncomfortable because of the lack of angled eye pieces? One of my primary uses would be prone and if the binos won't work for that I'm gonna have to go back to the drawing board.
