Remington 700 factory, what are the required foot pounds for this? front and back screws. Putting a pss/varmint into a grayboe renegade. Got myself a nice wheeler for the job.

I was always told 65 in lbs for the action screws.

Without pillars or some other metal all you will do is crush the wood under the screws.
After a few humidity cycles they will be loose again. |
