Seems like an awfully expensive replacement for hanging a baseball cap off your scope turret.

No, but if you're patient, you can get the Caldwell picatinny brass catcher for $20.

I have a TBR, and it works very well on my M5 setup.
You're running right on the ragged edge of the standard model fully fitting the ejector port with an M5E1 upper; you'll have to run it on the closest possible pic rail section. Don't listen to these others; it's in a whole different league than the caldwell....like lightyears more robust/durable. |

Caldwell is made for shooting from a bench at a square range. I’ve seen the TBR work well in competitions. Haven’t used one myself so I can’t really help with sizing.

I have both the Caldwell Picatinny rail and strap-on brass catchers to accommodate various rifles. Both work very well and are reasonably-priced.
