I recently assembled a 110 tactical in 6.8 and installed a new bolt head. I lowered the protrusion slightly from .050 to .041 and also lubricated the pin assembly. First time at the range, I had a few fail to fire. Can the lube on the firing pin really slow it down enough that it would cause it to fail to fire? Does everyone keep their firing pin assemblies dry?

Double checked my protrusion and I was on the light side at .034. Adjusted it accordingly. Range day is next weekend.
