I just priced out what it cost me to reload for 300rum..this with the best long range stuff I can get which pushed a 230 grain bullet to 3220fps..230 Berger hybrid target bullet, 99.0 grains of Reloader 33, and RP 9.5 primers..1.10 per round on my own brass.....Exact same price as 300WM, 300SAUM, or any other 30 cal cartridge loaded for long range other then a bit more powder...New brass if needed ranges from 1 buck per case for Factory RP to 3 bucks a case for Peterson brass, with nosler, norma, and a few others in between..more top makers are supposed to be coming out with brass as well...
