Anyone in here have or had one? Any pet loads? I’m starting load development and it seems slightly pressure sensitive vs my Armalite 10T. Using imr 4064 for the majority of loads and 168/175 pills.

Military brass requires a full 2.0 grain reduction in powder.

I use Lake City or IMI brass and 40.7 grains of IMR-4064 with 168 grain SMK's.

Post your load data and brass used. I use 2.810" for my OAL".

41.5 grains of VihtaVuori N150 hammers for me in Lake City brass with 168's.

Other loads I have used over the last 35 years include:

40.0 grains of H4895
43.0 grains of WW-748
40.5 grains of IMR-4895
40.5 grains of AA-2460

Varget and RE-15 @ 41.5 grains are two more options. All of the loads I posted here are maximum (or damn close) when using Lake City brass. Start at least 1.0 to 1.5 grains lower and work up in .5 increments.

If you have a chronograph 2525 fps is close to, or at maximum velocity with 168's fired from a 21" barrel using military brass.

Thanks guys. I was going off ejector swipes from the brass but noticed that the federal seems to be softer than  LC brass. Am I crazy or is that the case?

During the first outing I grabbed a box of Hornady 165gr hunting ammo. Most definitely too hot in my gas gun.

Really not interested in anything except the imr4064 or wcc 844 loads at the time because I have enough of that to last a while.

43.1 gr behind a 165 gameking (2625fps) has been the 10T ticket (hunting and within 300yds) and shot pretty good in the Noveske barrel (2655fps) also at 200.

I have one and haven't noticed it to be pressure sensitive at all. Mine seems to love some loads with LC brass that most would call nuclear. I do have a xh buffer and slr gas block though.
